Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for the 13th Judicial District..Phillip A. Stone filed a number of cases on June 26, in Circuit Court in Camden.

Amanda Morgan Turner of Camden on May 25,  was charged by Camden police with theft of property. The charges came as the result of the theft of money from the cash register at Wal-Mart. According to a supervisor at Wal-Mart Turner had been stealing from the cash register since March and the supervisor said they could trace the theft from March 2, thru March 24. Video documentation shows Turner stealing approximately $3,700.00 from the register during that time. During a police interview, Turner admitted to the thefts. She appeared before a judge on May 26,  and posted $10,000.00 bond.

20 year old Jeffrey J. McKinney of Camden on May 18, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, meth or cocaine, simultaneous possession of a firearm and drugs, possession of a firearm by certain persons and resisting arrest. McKinney was charged after Camden police were called to Wal-Mart on a report of three men shoplifting. McKinney resisted arrest and had to be taken to the ground to be hand cuffed. At that time he told police he had a .32 caliber handgun on him and police also found a baggy containing meth. Deputy prosecutor Stone filed charges against McKinney and Turner.

54 year old Phillip McDaniel of Bearden is to appear in District Court on January

18th, 2018 to answer to a number of charges including a time pay balance of

3885...two charges of theft of property and two charges of criminal trespass.

Tina Sample of Sparkman, charged with carless and prohibited driving wa

ordered to pay 50 dollars day of court and the balance by July 3rd.

Kristin Wesley of Bearden failed to appear in court on theft of property charges.

Judge Ives set bond at one thousand dollars and reset her trial for July 20th.
