06/22/17  President Of AEA Questions If We Are Over Testing Students

The annual NEA meeting and representative assembly will be held in Boston June 25 through July 5. The president of the Arkansas Education Association is Brenda Robinson. We interviewed Robinson on Monday about the meeting and issues that would be discussed by the nearly eight thousand educators from every state at the meeting. We asked Robinson if she thought students were being over tested.

According to Robinson,  retaining teachers is another issue that needs to be addressed.

Finding good teachers and keeping them is a problem expressed often by our local school administrators. Fordyce and some other area districts are offering teacher bonuses in an effort to attract teachers and keep them.
