06/16/17  Dallas County Sheriff's Report

Dallas County Sheriff's deputies investigated a couple of theft reports. One reported on June 7 the other on June 9.

June 7 Chief Deputy Josh McMullen investigated a report of a stolen saddle. Steven Nalls of Sparkman told McMullen he had parked his truck across from Chapel Creek Trading Post in Holly Springs around 6:45am. When he left his truck there were 4 saddles in the back, when he returned that afternoon, one of the saddles was missing.

June 9, Dallas County deputies Jim Johnson and Jacob Crain were dispatched to 139 Dallas 145 in reference to a stolen trailer. Linda Ballance informed officers that she had a red, 16 foot utility trailer stolen from a strip of land across the road from her house. Mrs. Ballance said the last time she saw the trailer was Thursday morning of last week. Both thefts are under investigation by the Dallas County Sheriff's department.
