According to Fordyce Police Chief Jimmy Vaughn, Fordyce police officers made a total of 8 arrests between June 5 and June 12.

June 7, officer Charles Still arrested 21 year old Cornelius Demarcus Morris of Fordyce and charged him with the rape of a person less than 14 years of age.

On June 9,  64 year old Lee Vinny Lawson and 31 year old Danselle Lee Lawson of Fordyce were both charged by officer Chad Hubanks with theft by receiving and for driving with a revoked license.

44 year old Amy Suzanne Caldwell of Bearden was charged on June 10, by officer John Cutrell with driving on a suspended license, driving without liability insurance and having fictitious tags on her vehicle.

June 11, officer Cutrell charged 32 year old Desmond Lewis Childs of Fordyce with driving on a suspended license, no liability insurance and driving with fictitious tags on his vehicle.

June 11, officcer Cutrell arrested 46 year old Antonio Tatum of Fordyce and charged him with theft of $1,000.00 or less.

A bench warrant was issued by District Judge Ronnie Phillips for the arrest of Cornelius Morris of Fordyce on contempt charges and a warrant for Angel Ankeny of Fordyce on a charge of failure to appear in court.
