06/09/17  Dallas And Cleveland County Farmers Markets Open Today And Tomorrow

The Dallas County Farmers Market will be open at 7 this morning with fresh produce and other items for sale. Vendors are encouraged to bring their fresh produce, crafts or home baked food for sale at the farmers market. There are tables and covered sheds available with electricity. The Dallas County Farmers Market is open Tuesday afternoon at 4:30 and Saturdays at 7.

In Cleveland County, the Farmers Market officially opens this evening at 5 in Rison at the Community Park downtown. A cake walk and other activities are on tap for the opening. Vendor space is free and there's an open invitation for acoustic musicians to come to Community Park each Friday evening for some impromptu jam sessions. There are Farmers Markets in New Edinburg and Woodlawn too, both begin at 7am on Saturdays.
