According to Fordyce Police Chief Jimmy Vaughn, Fordyce police made a total of 10 arrests between May 28 and June 5.  On June 4, officer Terry Carter was dispatched to the 900 block on highway 79 in reference to a naked man walking down the shoulder of the highway. Officer Carter located 3l year old Austin Lucas walking completely naked. Lucas was asked where his clothes were he said at home and when asked why he wasn't wearing them, Lucas said he didn't need them. Lucas was placed in handcuffs and put in the patrol car for transport to the Detention Center. During the transport, Lucas began shouting and slamming his knees into the patrol car. He was dressed at the detention center and began to shout and kick. He was placed in a holding cell and charged with indecent exposure and disorderly conduct. He'll appear in Dallas County District Court tomorrow morning.

May 30, officer Michael Rhodes arrested Jessica L. Williams of Carthage and charged her with driving on a suspended license. Driving with a headlight out, no liability insurance..obstructing government operations.

May 30, officer John Cutrell stopped Amy Suzanne Caldwell of Bearden and charged her with driving on a suspended license, no seat belt and no liability insurance.  Nicholas Ross of Fordyce was arrested June 2, by officer Michael Rhodes following a traffic stop. After running his drivers license it came back that Ross had a felony warrant out on him for robbery. The robbery dates back to 2015 when Ross is alleged to have ransacked Bread of Life church and beat Nonya Malone, an ex-girl friend. During that incident Malone reported to police that Ross ripped her earring out and stole her purse. Police hadn't been able to locate Ross until the traffic stop on June 2.  Ross was taken into custody and transported to the Dallas County Sheriff's department until his appearance in court.

A number of bench warrants were issued by District Court Judge Ronnie Phillips following the last district court session. Warrants were issued for William Edward Harrell for driving on a suspended license.

Elita Tubbs of Witchita, Kansas was issued a warrant for failure to appear.

Amy Love of Bearden was cited for failure to appear.

Kenneth Wayne Humphrey of Bearden had a warrant sworn out for him for failure to appear.

Devan Deante Brown of Fordyce for contempt

Jack Mitchell of Camden for failure to pay fines.
