81 year old Virginia V. “Peggy” Mattheson Roberts of Kedron died yesterday. She graduated from Pines Vo-Tech in 1971 with her LPN and spent 23 years working in the nursing field at Jefferson Regional Medical Center, Cleveland County Hospital and Davis Nursing Home. She retired in 1994.

Funeral services will be held at 10 tomorrow morning at Buie Funeral Home in Rison with Brother Johnny Brewster officiating. Interment at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Kedron. Visitation will be this evening from 5-7pm at Buie Funeral Home in Rison in charge of arrangements.
