06/06/17  Bearden School Board Meets Tonight Without Superintendent Rosenberg

The Bearden School Board meets tonight at 7pm at the Superintendents Conference Room at the middle school. Renee McKelvin will be sitting at the head of the table in place of Superintendent Denny Rozenberg, who was recently deployed to Kosovo. McKelvin was appointed by the board acting Superintendent until Rozenberg's return in a few months.

The agenda for tonight's meeting is mainly routine. The board will take some hiring of teachers under consideration..they'll also discuss extending the millage to finance an auditorium for the high school and the upcoming school election in September. The meeting is open to the public. The board normally meets the 2^nd Thursday of the month but had to schedule an earlier meeting due to a conflict.
