06/06/17  One Vehicle Accident Yesterday Brings State Total To 200

A 46 year old Holiday Island, Arkansas man was killed in a one vehicle  accident in Carroll County early yesterday morning. According to a State Police report, a 1988 Nissan Truck, driven by Christopher W. Ancell of Holiday Island was southbound on highway 23 north of Holiday Island when his vehicle left the road in a curve, went down an embankment and struck a tree.

Ancell was pronounced dead at the scene. It was raining at the time of the crash at 1:32 yesterday morning. Corporal Chris Martin of the State Police investigated.
