The Acadia Lodge #98 will hold their second annual Trustee banquet this Saturday at the Fordyce Civic Center. A silent auction begins at 5pm and the banquet starts at 6pm.

The Farmers Market in Fordyce will open this Saturday at the Dallas County Courthouse. Growers are needed with produce..homemade crafts are needed and canned or baked goods. There's no charge for tables and covered sheds with electricity are available through August. The market will be open Tuesday evenings at 4:30 and Saturday mornings at  7am. The Tinsman all school reunion will be held Saturday in the Tinsman Fire Department Community Center at noon with a potluck lunch.

A seminar for women who are considering or have recently started a business will be held this Saturday at the Monticello Branch library from 10am to 12:30. The seminar will be hosted by the Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center at UA-M. The seminar is free. To pre-register, contact Abbey Nowlen at 870-460-1266.
