05/22/17  High School Baseball And Softball State Championship Results

Four, state high school baseball and softball championships came home to South Arkansas over the weekend. The games were heard on Regional  Radio KQ-102.3.

Friday, the Woodlawn Bears had little trouble winning the Class 1A baseball championship over Bay. The Bears won it 13-3.

In Class 2A girls softball action, the Rison Wildcats brought home the state crown with a 5-2 win over Spring Hill.

In Class 6A softball, the Sheridan Yellowjacket girls team defeated Greenwood 3-2.

In Class 6A boys play, the Sheridan Yellowjackets brought home a state baseball title with a 3-1 win over Jonesboro.
