05/17/17  Woman Arrested Following routine Traffic Stop

27 year old Kayla Denis Jenkins on May 12,  was stopped by Dallas County deputies on patrol on highway 7 north of Sparkman. She was clocked doing 73 in a 55 mile per hour zone. There were two children and a male passenger in the vehicle.

Jenkins stated she did not have a drivers license and told Deputy Ryan Coleman she had a pipe used to smoke meth. Coleman retrieved the pipe and also discovered two clear baggies that once contained meth. All items were found in Jenkins' purse. She was arrested and taken to the Dallas County Detention Center. Her address was unknown at the time of the arrest.
