89 year old Anna Christine Chambers of Fordyce passed away yesterday. She made sure every child and grand child had a home made quilt of hers and on each of their birthdays they always looked forward to the homemade pies she would make for them.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm Saturday at Beech Grove Missionary Baptist Church where she was a longtime, faithful member. Brother Nick Flowers and Brother Nathan Petty will officiate. Interment at Oak Grove cemetery near Fordyce. Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 1pm at the church. Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce in charge of arrangements.
