04/26/17  Bearden City Attorney Clarifies Freedom Of Information At  Council Meeting

At the April Bearden City Council meeting, Mayor Iva Lou Stoker wanted to go into executive session to talk about police matters. However, City attorney Tom Wynne discouraged the action, saying executive session is never mandatory.

The council did not go into executive session and there was no more discussion on the issue.
