Fordyce Police Chief Jimmy Vaughn reported his officers made 10 arrests between April 10 and 17.

On April 11 the Sheridan Police Department notified Fordyce Police that they had stopped 31 year old LaToya Harris of Malvern in a traffic stop and a check came back that she was wanted in Fordyce. Fordyce confirmed there was a warrant out on Harris for leaving the scene of an accident, 1st degree assault, driving on a suspended license, criminal impersonation and driving without liability insurance. Harris is to appear in Fordyce District Court on May 11. The warrant had a bond amount of $1,920.00.

April 14, officer Michael Rhodes arrested Valorie M. Langley of Fordyce and charged her with theft.

April 15, Rhodes arrested Rushing Johnson of Fordyce on a charge of 1st degree terroristic threatening.

Arrest warrants were issued by Fordyce District Judge Ronnie Phillips for people who failed to appear in district court to answer to charges filed against them, those on the list include: Deangelo T. Morris of Fordyce, charged with failure to pay fines. John M. Buck of Sparkman, failure to pay fines. Kirby Walker and Tamarrus Miller of Fordyce, failure to pay fines. Jacqueline Marshall and Cornelius Rashaud Tidwell of Fordyce, failure to appear.
