Janet Robertson Berry of Cape Girardeau, Missouri passed away April 7,  at Southeast Hospital after a valiant battle with cancer for several years. She graduated from Warren High School and her family were fifth generation dairy farmers.

Following her college training, she taught school, her first teaching job was Walnut Valley Christian Academy in Little Rock where she established the first resource room dedicated to children with special needs. She also taught at Lake Hamilton Elementary in Hot Springs. After her teaching career she  embarked on her ultimate life calling as one of the first journey guides at the Southeast Health Cancer Center in Cape Girardeau. She retired in 2016.

Graveside service and burial will be tomorrow afternoon at 2 at the Robertson family plot at Oakland Cemetery in Warren with Reverend Ruffin Snow officiating. Visitation at the cemetery at 1:30 until time of service. Frazer's Funeral Home of Warren in charge of arrangements.
