04/11/17  Teenager Killed In Single Car Crash

An unidentified teenager was killed in a one car accident in Fayetteville on Sunday. According to State Police, an unidentified teenager was driving a 2014 Honda West on highway 62, when the vehicle crossed the centerline and the eastbound lanes and hit a curb. The vehicle  continued over the curb, through some grass, striking a tree.

The driver was transported to Washington Regional Medical Center where he later died.

The weather was clear, the roadway dry at the time of the crash at 6:34 Sunday morning. The Fayetteville Police Department investigated. It was Arkansas' 130 traffic fatality of the year.
