04/07/17  Dallas County Chief Deputy Speaks Out On Medical Marijuana

Will medical marijuana dispensaries be allowed in Fordyce and Dallas county? That's a question that's been brought before the Fordyce City Council just as a matter of consideration and thought. In a recent interview with Dallas County Chief Deputy Josh McMullens, he told us what he thought about medical marijuana dispensaries.

The issue has not been addressed as yet by the Dallas County Quorum Court.

On another issue, what do we do about the litter problem in Dallas County, and everywhere in South Arkansas? McMullen said it's really difficult to enforce litter laws.

A city wide clean up in Fordyce is wrapping up this week in hopes of having the city clean by the time the Fordyce on the Cotton Belt Festival rolls around.
