04/06/17  Ouachita County Quorum Court

The Ouachita County Quorum Court met Tuesday night for their regular meeting and the JP's took action on four appropriations ordinances. The first ordinance appropriated $3,448.00 for full time salaries and social security payments. The funds came from a transfer from the  retirement bonus fund to the highway fund.

The second appropriations ordinance transferred a little over 4,000.00 from the jail operating fund for overtime pay.

The third item on the agenda was an ordinance amending an ordinance to appropriate funds in the general fund, collector's budget, county clerk's budget and assessor's budget. Total appropriation was for $23,800.00 for general supplies, renting and leasing machinery and equipment and computer software. The funds came from the balance of anticipated revenue in the General Fund. The last appropriations ordinance was for $38,000.00 for the highway budget for machinery and equipment.
