In Ouachita County Circuit Court records, deputy prosecuting attorney R. Jeffrey Sawyer has filed charges of residential burglary and criminal trespass against 26 year old Keelan Chance Gates of Camden. On February 27, Gates is alleged to have entered the home of Destiny Briscoe. In the report, Gates insisted that the front door was open and he went inside to inform Briscoe. Briscoe denies the door was open saying she was up several times during he night with a baby and checked the door. Gates lives next door to Briscoe with his grand parents. Briscoe stated that was recently released from prison and has a small locksmith business. Records indicate that Gates was convicted in 2007 of theft of property and escape and received a 5 year sentence. In 2012, Gates was charged with two counts of forgery and sent to prison for 3 years and in 2015, he received 3 years for aggravated assault on a family member. A total of five felony convictions.

48 year old Cynthia L. Ragland of Camden has been charged in circuit court in Ouachita County with pawning a stolen Llama minimax .45 caliber semi-automatic handgun that was reported stolen in Jacksonville. She was charged in January and was released on bail.
