03/31/17  Camden Man Arrested Following Run-In With Police

 

36 year old Kameini Reed of Camden was charged on March 27,  with public intoxication, obstruction of governmental operations and resisting arrest. The charges were the result of an incident at 360 Dallas Street in Camden.

Police received a report that a man was standing outside her home with a pit bull scaring her. Upon investigation, officers determined the subject in question, Kameini Reed was intoxicated and he refused to provide his name to police.

Following a lengthy confrontation between Reed and Camden police officers Reed was finally taken into custody. After he was transported to the Ouachita County detention facility, Reed refused to get out of the squad car and had to be physically removed and carried to a jail cell. He was charged with public intoxication, resisting arrest and obstruction of governmental operations and will appear in court May 17.
