03/23/17  New Administrator Says Bottom Line Improving At Dallas County Medical Center

Dallas County Medical Center Administrator Ken Sanders told the Dallas County JP's at their meeting Tuesday night the hospital ended the month of January with the first positive bottom line in two years.

Sanders also reported that the hospital's average daily census was the highest since September of 2015. Emergency Room visits were the highest in 4 months, patient days, the highest since July, 2015. Family medical clinic visits at DCMC in January were 808, an all time record. Sanders was very excited about the good report.
