03/22/17  Dallas County Quorum Court

The Dallas County Quorum Court met for its regular monthly meeting last night at the courthouse. All JP's were present but District 5 JP Clark Brent. The JP's heard reports from the respective county officers. Leading off was County Treasurer Leslie Nutt.

Dallas County Sheriff Stan McGahee gave an optimistic report to the court.

Judge Jimmy Jones was complimentary of the Dallas County sheriff's office for their work in bringing to justice the man responsible for break-ins in the Ramsey community a couple weeks ago. McGahee credited the sharp eye of rural mail carrier Jeremy Givens in bringing the case to the attention of law enforcement.
