03/21/17  97 Motorists Have Died On Arkansas Highways

 

As of yesterday, 97 motorists had lost their lives on Arkansas highways since the beginning of 2017. The latest fatal crash occurred on Monday night in Bentonville.

According to State Police report, a 2017 Ford Fusion, driven by 28 year old Timothy J. Gall of Ft. Worth, Texas entered a city intersection on a green light when a GMC Safari, driven by 42 year old Marries Walton of Bentonville, ran a red light, striking the left side of Walton's vehicle, causing it to overturn.

A passenger in the Walton vehicle, 41 year old Vera Holt died as the result of injuries suffered in the crash. The injured were taken to N.W. Medical Center for treatment. Weather conditions were clear, the roadway dry at the time of the crash at 9:20 Monday night. The crash was investigated by Bentonville Police.
