94 year old Dorothy Sue “Dot” Erwin of Thornton died Monday at St. John's Place in Fordyce. She was a retired telephone operator and a member of the Thornton United Methodist Church for over 80 years.

The family will receive friends this evening from 6-8pm at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at two at Benton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Stoney Point Cemetery. Arrangements by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
