Two Bearden residents have had criminal charges filed against them in Circuit Court in Camden. According to the information filed in court, 35 year old Kenny Rogers of Bearden was charged by police on February 20,  with furnishing, possessing or using a prohibited article and possession of cocaine. His case was bound over to circuit court after an initial appearance before a judge. Records indicated that Rogers was convicted of an unspecified crime in 2015 and placed on 5 years probation.

43 year old Amy Caldwell of Bearden has been charged in Ouachita County Circuit Court with possession of a controlled substance, meth or cocaine, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with a suspended license. On January 12, Caldwell was stopped by Bearden Police Chief John Ainsworth because Caldwell's vehicle didn't have a license plate. A search of her vehicle revealed 9 clear plastic bags, a digital scale, razor blade, pipe and white crystal substance. She was placed under arrest and charged.
