03/06/17  New Act Part Of This Years Cotton Belt Festival

The Fordyce on the Cotton Belt Festival will be held April 17 thru 22 this year. Last week, Mike Trammell, Cotton belt festival  director and Richard Ledbetter, who handles the entertainment for the festival were guests on KQ-102.3's "South Arkansas Today" program. Trammell said everything is falling into place for this year's festival. He has signed the contract with the carnival company, the entertainment contracts have mostly been completed and the T Shirts for this year's event have been ordered. Trammell said there will be a new event this year on Tuesday night, a comedian magician.

Ledbetter ran down the lineup for this years entertainment. He said the headliner will be The Railers.

We'll have lots more on the Cotton belt festival in the days and weeks to come. Trammell said this year's T Shirts will have an 819 motif, getting back to a railroad theme.
