Lorene Green Bates of Conway...formerly of Pine Bluff died on Wednesday..she was 92. Mrs. Bates was born in Rison. “Bates” as many of her customers knew her, was dedicated to her job at  Shainberg's Department Store in Pine Bluff where she worked for 34 years and prided herself on keeping the men of Pine Bluff well-dressed and looking their best. Visitation will be held tomorrow at Salem Missionary Baptist Church in Pine Bluff at 1pm followed by services at 2pm. Burial at Graceland Cemetery in Pine Bluff. Fuller-Hale-South Funeral Home of Pine Bluff in charge of arrangements.
