02/23/17  Dallas County Quorum Court - State Auditors Pleased With Hospital

The Dallas County Quorum court met Tuesday night at the Dallas County Courthouse for their regular monthly meeting. First on the agenda a report from County Treasurer Leslie Nutt on the financial condition of the county.

Sheriff Stan McGahee gave a report on December and January receipts through his department.

McGahee said he had a question about 2015-2016 receipts.

McGahee says he thinks he can have comparable savings in 2017.

Dallas County Medical Center administrator Ken Sanders, reporting to the court said the hospital recently had auditors who were highly complimentary of the hospital.

Sanders pointed out how important the hospital is to the community.  He said the number of patients being seen at the rural health clinic has really grown and the clinic's income was about $200,000.00 in December.
