02/22/17  Smackover Man Charged With Criminal Trespass And Intoxication

A 56 year old Smackover man was charged by Camden Police February 16 with criminal trespass, public intoxication and disorderly conduct. Camden police were called to Soapy Suds Laundromat in reference to a disturbance.

According to a witness, Michael Dale Massey of Smackover came into the Laundromat intoxicated, cussing and screaming at his brother Terry. Michael is alleged to have also threatened to cut Terry. When officers frisked Michael they did find a knife in his pocket.

The witness said Massey never produced the knife, only mentioned he had one. Massey was given a court date of April 19.
