02/22/17  Camden Police Report

 

A 48 year old Camden woman has been charged with obstructing governmental operations. On February 20, Camden police officer Dillion McGee was dispatched to a report of a possible burglary in progress at 1427 Scotia.

Upon arrival, officer Reynolds made contact with Cynthia Watts who said she and her husband were having marital problems and he had changed the lock on the door. Watts was asked for ID, and when dispatch checked, there was no Cynthia Watts. Watts then said her maiden name was Bivins, a check was made, no Cynthia Bivins. Finally, Cynthia told the truth and said her name was Cynthia Ragland. Dispatch advised, Ragland had a felony warrant with the Camden Police Department for theft by receiving. Ragland was taken into custody.

Contact was made with the husband and he said she did live at that address but there was no burglary. Ragland was given a court date of April 19.
