02/21/17  Hot Springs Man Dies In A One Vehicle Crash

Arkansas recorded it's 55^th highway traffic fatality of the year early yesterday morning in Saline County. According to a state police report, 41 year old John Edward Davidson of Hot Springs died in a one vehicle crash on highway 70 west at Narrows Road.

The report stated that Davidson's 1998 GMC truck was westbound on highway 70 when for some unknown reason it veered to the left, off the road, striking a tree. Davidson was pronounced dead at the scene by the Saline County Coroner.

 Weather conditions were clear, the roadway dry at the time of the crash at 2:18 am yesterday morning. State Police Corporal Kenneth Cartwright investigated.
