Several criminal charges have
been filed in Dallas County Circuit court by Deputy Prosecuting attorney Tom
Wynne. On February 10, 25 year old Darrell Jamal McWilliams of 505
Peach Street in Fordyce was charged with residential burglary and theft of
property. September 16th of last year McWilliams is alleged
to have broken into the home of Tina R. Jackson at 730 Moore Street and took
some guns and a game box. 33 year old Ronald Anthony Shalmy of Rison, a convicted sex offender, on December 15 of last year failed to comply with the law pertaining to registration and reporting requirements for a sex offender. Shalmy's prior record indicates that he was previously charged with two counts of sexual assault and breaking and entering and with failure to comply with reporting procedure. Wynne indicated that he'll try Shalmy under the habitual criminal statute allowing for the judge to sentence Shalmy to more time in jail. 3l year old Cameron L. Sargent of 1006 Monroe Street in Fordyce has been charged in Dallas County Circuit Court with simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, possession of a controlled substance with the purpose to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a firearm by a felon. Sargent was charged on January 10 by police. Details of the arrest were not available in information filed in court. 44 year old Jammie Dean West of Thornton was charged in circuit court in Fordyce with simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, possession of meth or cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia. West was charged on January 5 following a traffic stop by Dallas County Deputy Ryan Coleman who observed West driving left of center and with only one brake light that was operable. Coleman also found a 20 gauge shotgun behind the drivers seat. 33 year old Joshawah Dane
Barner, 941 highway 203 at Bearden has been charged in Dallas County Circuit
Court with theft of property. According to information filed in court, the
incident occurred on December 9. Barner was charged January 2 with the
theft of several feet of electrical lines on Dallas County Road 149. A
witness had pictures of Barner cutting the wires on his game camera. Deputy
prosecutor Tom Wynne filed the charges against Barner in Circuit Court on
February 8. 47 year old Jerry W. Hammonds
of Sparkman and 31 year old Kristy Nichole Hall of Arkadelphia have been
charged in Dallas County Circuit court with residential burglary and theft
of property in the break-in at the home of Jeanie Denise Hammonds of Sparkman.
The incident occurred on December 12 of 2016. Hammonds record shows he had
been sentenced to 5 years of SIS, which is suspended imposition.
47 year old Jerry W. Hammonds of Sparkman and 31 year old Kristy Nichole Hall of Arkadelphia have been charged in Dallas County Circuit court with residential burglary and theft of property in the break-in at the home of Jeanie Denise Hammonds of Sparkman. The incident occurred on December 12th of 2016. Hammonds record shows he had been sentenced to 5 years of SIS..which is suspended imposition. -0- 43 year old Christy Ann Cross of Arkadelphia has been charged in Dallas County Circuit Court with 2nd degree forgery and theft of property. On October 24th of 2016, Cross..an employee of Sparky's convenience store at Sparkman at the time..is alleged to have changed the amount of money on a receipt for a purchase made at the store and pocketed the money. -0- -0- |
