02/14/17   Two Area Gospel Singings Coming Soon

A couple of gospel singing events are coming up, the public is invited to come participate or listen to a Gospel singing on Saturday, February 25, at 6pm at the Woodlawn Community Center at 6270 highway 63 at Woodlawn. There is no charge to attend. Anyone who would like to sing is welcome to  bring their own music on CD or they can sing with the musicians that will be on hand.

Bethel No.1 Missionary Baptist Church at Rison will be hosting the Southern Jubilee Gospel Singing Convention on Friday and Saturday, March 3 and 4 at the church. Admission is free, a love offering will be collected each night. Singing begins at 6 pm on Friday, March 3 and at 5 pm on Saturday March 4 at Bethel No. 1, located on highway 35 North, about a mile and a half north of the intersection of U.S. 79 at Rison.
