02/08/17  Fordyce Man Charged In Circuit Court In Camden

28 year old Terry W. Jones II of 908 Charlotte street in Fordyce has been charged in Circuit Court in Camden with commercial burglary, possession of meth or cocaine, criminal mischief and theft of property.

The charges are the result of a break in at Camden Drug in July of last year. Camden police responded to a burglar alarm at the store on July 19 and discovered the front door of the store had been broken out. Upon conducting an inventory, the owner told police investigators that a quantity of cough syrup containing codeine had been taken along with other items. She estimated damage to the front door at $1,000.00.

Blood found at the scene of the crime was sent off to the crime lab and the sample matched that as belonging to Terry Jones II. Surveillance video inside the store showed two subjects inside the store at the time of the break in. The report did not indicate another suspect had been arrested at the time the information was filed in court by Deputy Prosecutor Phillip A. Stone.
