02/07/17  Dallas County Traffic Stop Results In Two County Chase

Ouachita County Deputies, Bearden Police and a Dallas County Deputy cooperated in the apprehension Cedric Bernard King. According to a report Ouachita County Deputy Russell Bailey, when he arrived at the scene of the traffic stop on highway 7 at Amy, he spoke to Dallas County Deputy Ryan Coleman, who had King's Cadillac Escalade stopped.

Coleman said King gave him the wrong name, ran back to his vehicle and took off. The chase took deputies into Ouachita County where they asked for assistance from the Ouachita County Sheriff's department.

Coleman and Bearden deputy Brownlee took King into custody and found out he was wanted in four counties including Ouachita for a body attachment. King was also wanted on drug charges in Washington County and for a parole violation out of Arkansas County. King's address was not given in the report.
