02/06/17  Seymore Weathers Talks About Recovery

Seymore Weathers, photographer for the Fordyce News-Advocate is on the road to recovery. Weathers who recently suffered a debilitating back injury underwent surgery and was told by a doctor it's possible he might not walk again due to the fact of a bend in his spinal cord, but Weathers says the Good Lord is blessing him.

Weathers has a lot of medical bills and accounts have been opened at area businesses if you like to contribute. Accounts have been opened at FBT Bank and Mortgage and Heartland Bank. The News Advocate is also accepting donations.

A catfish dinner to benefit Seymore will be held February 16, at the Fordyce Civic Center. Tickets are available at the same locations we mentioned or at the Mayor's office at city hall. Tickets are $11.00 for catfish and all the trimmings. You can dine in or carry out.
