02/01/17  Four South Arkansas Schools Improving Academically

The Arkansas Department of Education has recommended that four schools in South Arkansas be removed from the list of academically distressed schools.

The department says Belair Middle School, Pine Bluff High and Watson Chapel High School and Dermott High School have made sufficient gains on state tests to lose the academic-distress label.
