02/01/17  4th Annual Razorback Roundup Set For February 23rd

 

The 4th Annual Razorback Roundup, sponsored by the Arkansas Dog Hunters Association will be held the last weekend of this month, Feb 23, 24  and 25.  Razorback Round up founder, Jeremy Sullivent, on KQ-102.3's "South Arkansas Today",  yesterday said a team from South Carolina has already signed up for the hunt and he expects to have about 30 teams this year.

Deadline to enter the hog hunt is February 18, at 5pm. Entry fee is $300.00 per team. Anyone who plans to enter the Biggest Barr competition pays $100.00 per team with 50 per cent payback.

Other events to be held include coon and squirrel treeing competition, buddy coon hunt, buddy squirrel hunt and wild hog cook off. There's also prize money to be won for the 5 heaviest hogs checked in, longest tusk, biggest hog and biggest sow. All proceeds from the event benefit the Arkansas Dog Hunters Association and Arkansas Hunters Feeding the Hungry program..
