A 33 year old Sparkman woman has been charged in Dallas County Circuit Court with criminal charges in connection with two separate incidents in November of last year. Dallas County Deputy Prosecutor, Tom Wynne filed charges against Somer Michelle Johnson on January 18. Johnson is charged with possession of meth, and possession of drug paraphernalia in connection with an incident on November 2. On that date Dallas County deputies came to Johnson's residence seeking Coby Deaton who was wanted on various felony charges. While at her residence, deputies found the meth and the paraphernalia. On November 25, Johnson was charged with 2nd degree domestic battery, aggravated assault on a family or household member, possession of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia. Those charges were filed following an incident between Johnson and her boyfriend. The boyfriend was attempting to leave Johnson and was walking away when Johnson is alleged to have run him down twice with her vehicle.

46 year old James Lamar Wright of Camden has been charged in circuit court with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Those charges came following a traffic stop in Fordyce in March of 2016. At the time of the traffic stop..Wright exited his vehicle and when he did a black bag containing a white substance, a glass pipe and two plastic straws containing a white residue fell from his vehicle onto the street.  

46 year old Charles Arnold McClure of Sparkman has been charged in circuit court for possession of drug paraphernalia. The charges were filed against McClure on December 6 after a traffic stop in Fordyce when the officer making the stop noticed syringes hanging out of McClure's jacket pocket. The charges against him were filed January 18 by Deputy Prosecutor Tom Wynne.
