01/25/17  Fort Smith Man Becomes 25 Highway Fatality

Arkansas highway fatality number 25 occurred on January 15,  but some how wasn't listed on the State Police list of highway fatalities until just yesterday. At least it was given the number 25 in the fatal crash reports.

The crash was a one vehicle crash that killed 56 year old Dennis Cancel of Ft. Smith. According to the State Police report, Cancel was riding his 2009 Harley Davidson north bound on a Ft. Smith street and lost control of his bike, laying it over. Cancel was pronounced dead at the hospital. Ft. Smith police investigated.
