Elsie Marie Speer Peterson of Camden passed away Saturday at the home of her daughter in Mobile, Alabama. She was born in the Hopeville Community in Calhoun County.

She and her husband owned and operated Peterson Grocery and Market in Cullendale for many years.

A graveside service will be held at 11 Wednesday morning at Bethel Cemetery near Bearden with Rev Wade Totty officiating. Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce in charge of arrangements.
