01/09/17   Fordyce School Board And Bearden City Council Meet Tonight

A couple of meetings are scheduled for tonight. In Fordyce the School Board meets for the first time in 2017. The meeting will be held on the Fordyce High School Campus beginning at 5pm. The meeting is open to the public.

In Bearden, the first meeting of the City Council will be held at 7pm at city council chambers at City Hall. The council is expected to pass the budget for 2017 which they held up passing at the last meeting in order to try to come up with a company to service the computers the city owns. An El Dorado company submitted a bid of $600,00 a month, which the city cannot afford.
