12/20/16   Bearden Depot Project Update

At the Bearden City Council meeting last week, Mayor Iva Lou Stoker gave a progress report on the work being done on the depot that's being transformed into a library-museum.

The Mayor reported most of the depot has been painted and the ramp and porches are complete. Work will begin next on the portion of the depot that will house the library. The Mayor also reported that the fund raiser on December 1,  raised about $1,000.00 after expenses. There's about $5,300.00 in various accounts for use on the depot project.
