12/19/16   Damage At Minimum From Saturday Evening Storms

Severe weather hit Arkansas Saturday evening and triggered numerous tornado watches and warnings from S.W. Arkansas to N.E. Arkansas. We checked with Sheriff's offices in Ouachita, Dallas, Cleveland and Grant counties, the only one reporting damage was Grant County.

That damage occurred to a couple of homes in the Grapevine area one of the locations where a tornado warning was issued. A resident who lives in the area said the houses damaged were in the Bookman community off highway 190. There were no injuries reported. Most of the other areas just reported heavy rain and high winds.
