12/19/16   Fordyce Showing Christmas Spirit Over Local Citizens Burglary

Residents of Fordyce have been stepping forward to assist Pastor Roderick Rogers and his family whose home was recently broken into. The burglary took place last Tuesday morning, Rogers said his wife discovered the break in when she went home on a break.

Rogers pastors Lighthouse Baptist Church and has many outreach programs that benefit many in the community, including youth programs.

Police Chief Jimmy Vaughn told us last week that one juvenile had been taken custody in the case and more arrests were pending. Rogers says so far one gun has been recovered, several were taken in the burglary.
