12/06/16   62 Year Old Woman Becomes 503 Traffic Fatality

Arkansas has recorded its 503 traffic fatality with the death on Saturday of a 62 year old West Memphis, Arkansas woman. State Police report, Willie B. Davis of West Memphis died and a passenger was injured when the 2004 Ford Escape headed east on 70-79 in West Memphis at Broadway Avenue, passed a vehicle that had stopped. Davis lost control of the vehicle, then left the roadway and overturned.

The passenger was identified as 50 year old Jackie B. White of West Memphis. White was taken to a local hospital for treatment. It was raining at the time of the crash and the roadway wet. Patrolman D. Skaggs of the West Memphis Police Department investigated the incident at 12:24 Saturday afternoon.
