12/09/16   Free Extension Holiday Cookbook

With the Christmas holidays here there will be lots of cooking and food shopping going on. On a recent visit to the KQ-102.3's "Bearden Brunch Bunch" broadcast, heard every Wednesday morning at 11:05 on KQ-102.3, Ouachita County Family consumer affairs agent, Addie Wilson brought with her a book entitled: Cooking with Extension. They are free at your extension office and contain lots of recipes as well as planning tips, shopping tips and much more.

Wilson talked about a Yoga for Kids program that's available through her office. She says she usually prepares a smoothie from the cookbook for the kids..

Speaking of Yoga for the Kids, Wilson talked about the program's advantages.
