12/08/16   Tri-County Lake Gets New Name

By a unanimous vote at the November meeting of the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, Tri-County Lake near Fordyce will have a longer name. The commissioners renamed the lake as  Mike Knoedl Tri-County Lake, in honor of the recently retired Game and Fish Director.

Knoedl officially retired in July. He began his career with Game and Fish as a wildlife officer in Perry County in 1985 and worked himself up the ladder to the directorship..a position he assumed in October of 2012.
