85 year old Alice Elizabeth Matthews of Tulip died Monday at her home. She was born in Thornton and was a retired Allied Telephone Company operator.

Funeral services will be this afternoon at 2 at Tulip United Methodist Church with Reverend Tammy Harrell officiating. Burial at Tulip Cemetery. Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce in charge of arrangements.
